Operations · Pakistan or India (Remote)

I'm hiring one person to run my company's operations.

Not a coordinator. Not a VA. The operator I hand the keys to. Read the letter below before you touch the form.

A letter from the founder

I started Webly Studio out of a simple frustration: the agencies businesses hired kept letting them down. Late work, excuses, silence after the invoice cleared. So I built the opposite — a team in Pakistan that treats a client's growth like its own. Today Webly runs two sides: staffing, placing vetted specialists inside US businesses, and marketing, running growth end to end — web dev, paid ads, GoHighLevel CRM automation, creative. A normal day means fifteen client projects across six departments, for US and UK businesses.

Here's the honest part: today, the person running operations is me. I still write the daily briefings. I still answer WhatsApp at midnight. I review the status updates, chase the deadlines, sit on the client calls, prepare payroll, onboard every hire. The standard I hold this team to is the one I hold myself to first — but it means the founder is doing an operator's job, and the company grows slower for it.

I'm hiring one person to take all of it off me. Everything except one side venture. All the team, all the clients, all the projects, all the tools. You would be the backbone of this business. If you're absent, things break. If you're sharp, everything moves.

Backbone is not a compliment here. It's the job description.

I think of this company like a ship: the team is the crew, the clients are the destination, and operations is the compass. If you write to me, prove you actually read this letter — the application will ask you for the one word in this paragraph that everything steers by. And one more small thing between us: when the form asks for your city, add the word 'anchor' after it. That's how I know I'm talking to a reader, not a robot.

What I want is simple to say and hard to be: ownership without being asked, AI in your hands daily the way operators used spreadsheets a decade ago, systems and SOPs that make problems die permanently, and English confident enough to call a US client before they call us. This is a startup. The hours are real — 5 PM to 3 AM Pakistan time (5:30 PM to 3:30 AM India time) — and so is the authority: you report to me and the COO, nobody else.

The application takes 75 to 90 minutes and is deliberately demanding. It contains checks you can't see, and we detect AI-written answers — if a machine writes your story, the application ends there. If reading that made you tired, we're not for each other. If it made you sit up — I'll meet you at the end of it.

— Samar, Founder, Webly Studio

What you'll own

Leadership & Decision Making

Run day-to-day operations across all departments. Make the calls that keep projects on time, direct department heads, and remove bottlenecks before they cost a deadline.

Team Management

Monitor every employee's performance. Run weekly evaluations, stay close to progress and workload, and make accountability non-optional.

Client Relationships

Be the primary operational contact for every client. Regular communication, client meetings, trusted escalation point — and you reach out first, you don't wait for the complaint.

Internal Coordination

Carry client priorities to department heads. Run the internal meetings, flag P1 incidents, and follow up until every decision is actually executed.

Systems, SOPs & AI

Build systems that make problems die permanently: SOPs, checklists, automations, AI-assisted workflows. Use AI daily and teach the team to do the same.

Recruitment & Onboarding

Final-stage interviews, salary negotiations, and onboarding — every new hire integrated into culture, process, and expectations.

Financial & Administrative

Own the monthly payroll and compensation sheets. Numbers always current, always documented, never chased by the founder.

Who we're looking for

Nice to have

This is for you if

  • You've managed people for real — hired, evaluated, had the hard talks.
  • You fix what nobody assigned you.
  • AI is in your workflow daily — and you can prove it.
  • You've built a system that outlived you.
  • Your English can lead a live US client call, proactively.
  • You want one all-in startup seat with real authority and real hours.

This is NOT for you if

  • You're keeping a second job or side clients.
  • You've never managed people in a paid role.
  • Your spoken English can't carry a live call.
  • You wait to be told what to do.
  • You'd let AI write your application. We detect it. Automatic rejection.
  • You can't do 5 PM – 3 AM PKT (5:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST) plus urgent availability.

What you'll get

How hiring works

  1. Apply

The form below takes 75 to 90 minutes. Real stories from your career, an operations work sample, an AI work sample, a recorded voicemail, a real artifact, a Loom walkthrough, and a mandatory video in English — recorded live on your device.

  2. Screening

Our team reads every application. The form contains checks you can't see; AI-written applications and missing recordings are automatically rejected.

  3. Interview

Shortlisted candidates meet the founder and the COO. Expect specific, situation-based questions — and expect us to reference your own application answers.

  4. Reference & Offer

We contact the reference you provide, then a final conversation on compensation and a structured onboarding into our tools, clients, and SOPs.
